Background/Problem:
Currently, event tracking is limited in its ability to notify users of significant changes in event counts, such as trends, anomalies, or critical shifts. Without customizable alerts, users may miss key insights or react too late to important changes in their event data. In the past,Universal Analytics allowed users to set custom rules for alerts, which helped them stay informed when certain thresholds were met.
Proposed Solution:
Implement a feature for custom alerts based on event changes, allowing users to set up personalized rules similar to those in the deprecated Universal Analytics. This would notify users when key thresholds are reached, such as a spike in events, a significant drop, or other critical variations in event counts. The alerts could be tailored to individual monitoring needs, providing greater flexibility and control over event tracking.
