The ‘Site structure’ tab contains the full tree structure of a website that allows you to view pages for any directory. The site structure is formed based on the crawled pages: the first part is the domain and other are directories.

1. The interface of the ‘Site structure’ tab

The numbers beside each node in brackets are the number of pages contained in the directories and subdirectories. Percentages are the ratio of the number of pages in a selected directory to the total number of pages on the site.

2. Filtering URLs by a directory in the ‘Site structure’ panel

Each node in the site structure represents a filter of results. Select a necessary directory and its pages will be displayed on the ‘URL Explorer’ tab of the main panel.

3. Segmentation

The program can also show you all reports only for a selected directory. Follow these steps to do it:

  1. Click on a necessary directory → you will see its inner pages in the ‘URL Explorer’ table.

  2. Click on the ‘Use as a segment’ button to see all data related to the selected directory.

  1. Now you can see statistics according to the directory on the ‘Dashboard’ tab, check all issue reports for this directory and export necessary data to your computer.

  2. Click on the ‘Reset’ button to cancel a segment selection.

4. Export of a site structure

There are two methods to export a site structure:

  • Using the ‘Extended copy’ feature (Ctrl+Shift+C) → to copy data from the sidebar in an extended form which may be convenient for pasting it into an external table.

Extended copy to file

  • Using the ‘Site structure’ report → this is a more extended report, which can be exported in .XLSX or .CSV formats depending on your settings. Besides site structure, it also contains values of all selected parameters for each URL.
